An unforgettable ceremony after more than eight hours of hiking, a 20-kilometer round trip, and one incredible adventure — that’s what awaited us in Norway this June for this Trolltunga elopement.

Milena and Janik exchanged their vows at one of the most breathtaking locations imaginable, surrounded only by their four closest friends and us. It truly was an adventure we’ll never forget.

We set off early in the morning, making our way to one of the three trailheads that lead to what is considered one of Norway’s most spectacular hikes: Trolltunga. What many people don’t know is that it’s actually possible to have a legal civil ceremony at Trolltunga. Since Milena and Janik had already gotten engaged there, it felt like the perfect place to officially say “I do.”

The ceremony was incredibly emotional, and there wasn’t a dry eye in sight—not even the officiant’s. We celebrated together that evening, and a few days later, we met again for an after-wedding session in a beautiful field of blooming lupines.
